I was looking at the thread, and we're patched to the latest version, is everyone on beta patched to 12319?

yep. Took about 3hrs or so but finally got there 30 minutes before the server was due to go down for maintenance.

There is currently no estimated time for the completion of this maintenance.

Sounds like they are working on a problem they don't have a guaranteed solution for and will most likely involve lots of testing and restarts before releasing it to the rest of us *crosses fingers*

Yeah it shows my chars peel, imaginary, and phae successfully complete, but it doesn't show my premades I've made

Yep, same here .. transfers successful premades non existent.

Yey! It's moved from busy servers to "Failed to apply patch." Wonderful....

My current build is 12319, anyone know if this is the current or do I have to go searching around for the next one?

Probably a small update to fix issues with the login servers, or another giant update we'll spend hours downloading only to arrive back at the "login server is busy" message.

Edit:
Checking the log, the client is trying to download "WoW-4.0.0.12319-4.0.0.12479".

I was wondering...

How many of you copied over your WTF folder to the Beta install?

Being on Linux myself, i copied over my config.wtf file due to the graphics settings.

about 20mins ago i removed all the account specific entries in my config.wtf file and when i went to login it skipped ahead of the Login Server Unavailable and on to the patch..

Granted i got a failed to apply patch error, but there might be something to it, there might not.

Finished patching, and I'm still getting "Login server is busy" message.

Edit: I have a request for anyone who CAN log in, regardless of when you got your key. Try and log in with a made-up account name/pw, and report back what the error message is. If the "Login Server is busy" is the default reply for a bad username/pw, then we can assume that our keys haven't been validated; on the other hand, if it tells you the info is incorrect, then we have to think of other reasons for this issue.

No, I haven't spoken to Blizzard about it yet because, well, it's already a very well known and reported problem and it isn't specific to just the keys from us. I have no doubt at all that they are very aware of it. All I can say is we wait and hope guys.
