Its preventing me from making any changes or updates in my Guidl control tab. I spoke with a GM in game, because I was havign trouble with the new Guild Bank in game already, when this problem jst started poppin up. It changes any rank I am looking at back to Me, Guild Captain. adn prevents me from changing anything. I tried as the GM advised and unchecked all my adds, it worked, I was able to fix what I was working on.
So I went through and started trying to find which addon was causing the prob. Nothing worked, I even dissabled them all,and enabled them one at a time. However I still got the error, with every addon...>.< I am, well an idiot when it comes to this stuff, so please could someone tell me which one it could be so I can just disable it till it gets updated?
Although, all my add have been updated through here, wowace and curse...nothing comes up as out of date anymore....anyway. Thank you in advace, for any help or advice you can offer.
As I am supremely frusterated, adn gettign a bit of a headache from trying to figure this out, I am going to go make some cookies. I will check in later.

Try disabling all of your Guild management AddOns:

As i said before, its really weird. I tried it with no add-ons, and I could access all the guild controls just fine, so then I decided to enable them one by one. the first one I enabled was Auctioneer...same error...so disabled it, then tried bagnon....same error..this confounded me...so I went to the bottom of my list..Zhunter...now this was the only add-on enabled...
same error. So I am wondering...and I may be way way off...but is it possible one of my Libs or externals is conflicting with the new patch data? would that explain why numerous adds are causing this error?
Sorry if thats a dumb idea, as I said I am a nooblette when it comes to understanding any of this ^.^ But I would like to learn.

that is possible, have you updated the libs since the patch? i know that a few of them were updated...

This is just a shot in the dark. I wonder if you might have some corrupt files somewhere.

Backup your WTF, Interface, and Cache folder to a safe place, then delete them all from the WoW directory. Log in to a clean setup and then exit wow.

Now add all your addons back to the addon directory, and log back in again. Dont bother with setting up your UI, just see if you still get the errors. If you dont, then I would say a data file got corrupted. If you do get the errors still then I dont know where to go after that.

Like I said, shot in the dark. If it doesnt work, then you can just restore all your folders back and you will be back where you were.

Hi, as far as I know My libs are all updated, I use wowace updater to keep em all current. I tried copying the wtf folder, moving it and trying a new start, and I still got the guild control error.
I even was curious about 4 am this morning and logged in on my kids comp, they have a few of the same addons I use as well, catographer, auctioneer, etc, and I got the error.
I petitioned a Gm to look into this for me. I also let Auctioneer know of the error, as well as Cartographer and Fu bars (just in case one of them, or part of thier libs are triggering this error).
I am not sure what else to do, I am stumped, but I am so thankful for yrou suggestions and advice.
Till someone figures it all out, or the addons get an update that stops this error, I will just have to disable all my addons when I need to use the Guild control panel. Not that big a deal I suppose ^.^
Hmmm maybe I have a gremlin in my comp...,, Price check on [Gnomish Exploding Gremlin Reducer] ?

Did you just do the wtf folder or did you do like I suggested above?

Another thing you can try is running the repair.exe file in your wow directory to see if the game files themselves have become corrupt somewhere.
