Client update?

Are you ever going to update this thing to work with Java 7, or better yet not rely on Java at all?

I do appreciate all the hard work, but lets admit it...Java is a terrible platform and I have no clue why you would have developed on it in the first place. So, I'm asking if you'll ever just work off an executable to run this thing as I like your website a lot more than Curse, but your client is so bad I can't stand coming here to manually download everything.
