UI Feedback Thread - Page 56

Been working on this one for awhile. My goal was minimalistic, easy to see, simple, just very easy on the eye. Things to me seem less than perfect. I know dbm is off by the way (it's bugging the hell out of me) I swear I have a ocd thing when it comes to this. Anyhow, wanting some feedback as far a what you guys/gals think..Just maybe a bit more clean up imo.

People need to post more stuff here! Seriously.

I recently gave the Alt Power bar in my UI a makeover since Blizz seems to like using it a lot. It now appears as an extra bar under the player frame (and automatically pushes down debuffs/shard/rune/eclipse bar), colours by gradient, and hides the maximum health text to show an Alt power text instead.

I like shinies.

Haleth, I'll post just for you! I do like your alt power bar set up. Man those things are usually pretty god aweful ugly aren't they?

Anyway my new set-up

In action ... don't ask I don't know why I can't remember how to link things, and why the lil bar isnt working

still tweaking placement stuff on minimap. And looking for a font I can used everywhere. Since the all caps one I have confuses me in chat

UF's looks great!

My altpower is similar though im not sure if i wanna keep text or not. i used too track text on raidframes only.

How come you replace it with hp text? , does it look weird having it next too power text?

Not much has changed with my look. im extremely bored with my current layout but i don't have any motivation too start something new. it suits my needs and works well for healing.

Looks good, Unkn. I find the text a little hard to read though, but maybe that's just me.

nin, I like your UFs as always. If you've found something good there's no real need to change it just for the sake of changing it, imo.

And, the reason I replace max health text is because it's just a little too cluttered otherwise.

Any plans on releasing your ui ? Or mayby the oUF layout only ?

/Edit: Would prolly have sex with your unitframes with enough alcohol in my body :P

This is still very much a WiP.
I dont like how thick the mana bars are, but theres an issue with stuf, where if i try and set the height of any bar lower than 10, the boarders render oddly.

Lol...who hasn't cyber'd a nin layout at one time or another.

Here's a fork of Shestak UI I started recently...needs much work still:

Um, well. im actually pretty bad at lua(i use a butchered ouf_phanx as base for my layout) , wich means im bad at maintaining and fixing issues / requests etc. and it makes me feel bad not being able too help people. :P

I know for example my uf's throws a lot of error on classes that's not a paladin since i more or less only play my holy paladin it's tailored for that character.

If i can get some volunteers for some bugtesting i might be able too get a layout made that works for public release.

Makes sense, you only track actual hp and max hp right?

I rather track hp % than actual hp (i see actual hp on mouseover)

And on alyzrazor for example if you're into pve i really want too see tanks hp in % as healer, guess thats personal preference though!

If i ditched my stuff your ui would definitely be my first pick.. im too lazy too rewrite raidframes!
