Don't want it loading city maps

Ok I love a lot of things about carbonite just got it , but when I go into the capitol city it loads that extremly gay non-minimap map and I can't see anything like I could using it as i would like a minimap in a normal zone. Is there a way to set it to never load those alternative city maps as they suck really bad and to only use the minimap graphics map in a city?

The game outdoor minimap graphics we use are not rendered correctly in most cities, so we always show the zone art. In cities Blizzard uses a bunch of indoor art pieces rotated and scaled and such to render the minimap. We cannot manipulate the art in the same way.
