Another MazzleUI wannabe. Still have a few tweaks to make me happy, but it's close to being "good enough". Pretty lightweight, using LitePanels and Stuf unit frames giving me some decent performance (using about 18MB in a raid, and 20+ fps in Dalaran on a single core computer). I've been using nUI to hold me over 'til completion, and very happy with that as well.

Something I've been working on for the past few days. Still trying to stream line it a little more, along with getting the strata correct for the Unit Frames. Guess I'll need to do some LUA editing...

Current tanking UI. I use SUI on my dps raid leader, but I find I don't need that much information on my tank, and I would rather it be clearer than filled with things I might not need to know.

Since I'm a DK, I don't care about the player cast bar being jammed into the small space below the player UF. However, when I roll my priest, I'll be moving the cast bars around, since I'll see them more often they'll have to be in the right place. Hurray for OCD! I'm also waiting for my realm to come back up so that I can add the mana/rage/energy bars to the focus and ToT frames for consistency and so it doesn't look off. Irregularity is only ok if its strictly enforced, I guess. I also need to even up the action bars and the ChatBar bottoms; only just noticed they were out of line. How did I miss that before?

I was inspired by the Translucent Irregularity UI, the first versions of it; I'm not a big fan of the recent incarnations (sorry! great work though).

C&C are welcome.

ooc, chat not minimized cause people won't stfu!

I'm currently playing around with some variations of oUF_viv.

Note: It's a real viewport, not just art applied over the world frame and thus hiding parts of it. A viewport can be nice looking and unobtrusive, but makes it possible to actually see MORE of what's surrounding you. It's a little bit like switching from a 4:3 screen to 16:9.

Nice, Dawn. What font is that in the bottom right?

I must say Dawn I love the concepts in that UI. It fits together really well.

Nothing too special, just a little kgpanel magic and what I consider to be the best unitframe layout I have seen. I basically took Caellian's oUF layout, dropped it in and did something I don't usually do, I worked my ui around the existing unitframes. Normally I would toss a ui together and try to find unit frames that fit it and usually fail at a decent rate at that. As I said it isn't anything fancy but I think it fits nicely, it's just panel colorization and placement and other works that I unfortunately can not take credit for.

Nice UI. What are u using for buffs/debuffs (primary interested in the border styling)?

And what would be the big deal with viewport? Never used it myself.
On a 4:3 resolution it could be maybe nice, but on a widescreen...
And still, as far as I get it, all it does is make the effective screen smaller, so what would be the difference between 'cutting of some screen' and 'putting some texture over it'...
Maybe I'm missing something...

You are missing the point. It's EXACTLY NOT 'cutting of some screen'. It's actually more visible than before.

some pictures .... exactly the same camera perspective

no viewport ...

with viewport

both pictures layered ... as you can see, a viewport scales down the worldframe a little, it keeps the height, but expands the width to match the screen. You aren't losing anything in height, but gaining more width.

pure win, actually.

I think the problem lies within the understanding of "viewport". It's actually not just a thick bar-like texture on the bottom/top. That's what most people are doing plain wrong when they are setting an UI up like this. A viewport modifies the worldframe directly instead of putting all crap on it, you can put more stuff outside of it.

Edit: As for the auras, they are all done by the oUF layout itself.
