cartographer/ minimap issue

When I first log on, the Cartographer button on my minimap, (the one that opens the map)is not there. If I use the main menu to open the map and select the options in Cart to show minimap button it is selected to to show it. If I unslelect it and reselect it. the mini map button shows up on my minimap then. Not hard to do but slightly annoying. Any ideas as to what is causing this?

Are u using any minimap mods like simple minimap , squeenix , ricominimap ? any location addons like locationfu ? mods such as these also have an option to disable the map button on the minimap , u could be have diff addons conflicting with each other.
