question, tried to re-write core but failed

I'm looking to remove the part of the code that covers the default raid frames. I thought I had it figured out in the core file but it didn't work. Any ideas?

I just like having OUF for my player/target/focus portraits nothing else.

oUF is just a library, nothing else. There is no reason to remove the part of the core that handles raid frames.

If you don't wish to use oUF for raid frames, then simply remove the part of the LAYOUT addon that covers the raid frames.

There no code in oUF that touches the default raid frames. This is currently done through the layouts.

As for any other frame, oUF removes the original only if there's been spawned a replacement.

Example:
If you only spawn a player frame with oUF, target, tot, focus, pet and party will still be default.
