main map not scrolling in

I'm having an issue with the world map. I try to scroll in to another section of the map that i am not in to check whats there and it will not scroll in. the map stays blank until you get real close but that's not what i want to see. Then if I'm in eastern kingdom and want to see kalmidor i just get blur as in the second attachment




Any help would be great, thanks
