Was looking for a mod that would announce who spawns adds during phase 1 - trying to weed out fail in a raid.

There's nothing that would say who spawned it in the combat log, so it's not really possible.

actually it can't.

All you can do is notify that *an* add has spawned, not who spawned it.

What about taking the time it takes to spawn the next add, and see what the actual time was the next one spawned. This way you at least can see if an extra add was spawned. I know the spawn interval at the start is 20 seconds, but I don't know when and how fast that interval increases.

Would be nice to know so you know if it is you simply failing or someone spawning.

edit: seems like first 4 mobs have 20 secs between em. (1-2, 2-3, 3-4) till 7 it's 15 secs, and further on 10. Probably goes even faster a bit later.

Again this isn't going to be 100% accurate, seeing as there are guilds around that sometimes intentionally spawn an extra add (let's say at the start, though this is not necessarily set in stone), in order to speed up the initial phase (at the very I know, my guild does )

Fails

EnsidiaFails will report.

Best fails mod. Only one person in raid should have and it's a must for raiding.

Actually there is an emote that happens and tells you when and who spawns an add. Well at least it does for me and my guild mates. It even does it for my friend who plays with no addons.

The game actually prints who failed to a cloud now. So it should be fairly easy to see who spawned the clouds.

"Ominous Cloud bubbles and boils after touching ___________" is about what is says from the top of my head.

Yes, because this ability was added in the latest patches.

I blame the US date format, which makes no sense at all. Let's compare:

Japanese: 2009 09 08 (large to small)
Europe: 08 09 2009 (small to large)
US: 09 08 2009 (uhm...)

Bonus edit!
Let's apply the same logic to the clock

Normal: 16:13:50 (big to small)
Europe date logic: 50:13:16 (small to big)
US date logic: 13:16:50 (uhm...)

Well, it is an American based site for an American based game.

imo, the date format is based on what's needed to find that date (like on a calendar). Year is least important because you should damn well know what year it currently is, but it's still given at the end just for clarification or for dates further off in the past/future. But to find the date of 9-7, first you have to turn the calendar to September (9) and then find the date of the 7th.

As for time... you have that format incorrect, haste. It is big to small. hh:mm:ss. We just use a 12-hr date format instead of 24-hr (though the military uses 24-hr time), because a clock only has 12 hours on it.

The whole time thing was just an unserious addition . I still think the dates should be written in a more verbose matter.
