I'm referring to PGs display at the top, health, mana, animated image.

thank you, but I've enabled 3d portraits for player, pet and target, but the animated portrait just shows up for my pet and not for me or everyone else, is there something that I'm missing?

Try doing /console ReloadUI after you check those options.
