No addon option

I'm not getting the option at character screen to be able to turn my addons on...any help on this would be great

Typically this happens when the addons aren't installed in the correct wow sub folder.

Addon folders need to be placed in the:
World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons directory. Sometimes when users extract the zips they download they get the following folder combination: zip_file_name\addon_folder and then they place that whole thing in the Addons directory.

Thus ending up with ..Interface\Addons\zip_file_name\addon_folder. Wow won't look that deep for the addon content, it will only look one directory deep from Addons. So the way it should be is Interface\Addons\addon_folder. Double check to ensure all addons directories are properly installed and that should resolve your issue.
