Issue with glow/sparkle

I'm a resto druid, i have a custom bar with the following states:
[stance:2/4/6][nostance]
[stance:1]
[stance:3]
[stance:5]

I have a separate bar for each state and works fine, now:
I have my healing spells on the first bar (2/4/6/nostance), if i use Tree of Life Form it swaps to its own bar... but... the healing spells don't get the glow effect the should have. And, when the buff ends and the bar swaps again to the original, my spells have the glow

Is there a way to disable the glow altogether?

There is, in bar editor in the top right area, bottom checkbox.
Spell activation Glow. I believe that's what you want.

Edit:
Found this on my way through all the Macaroon! Comments.

it feels like the "Tree of life" state and the "caster" state have swaped. my special highlights dissapear when i hit tree form, and when i come out of it, my caster bar lights up as if there is something special going on.

im pretty sure i did it when i shift clicked on it to change bars. but now i cant get it back. i might have to delete the bar and restart, but i don't really want to since its my bear, cat, seal, travel form, tree of life, caster bar :x

anyway for me to troubleshoot what the heck i did? lol
I had this same issue and it is was caused by druids losing Dire Bear Form and now only having one Bear Form. You have to first re-learn Bear Form if you have not and then open up the Bar Editor. On the right-hand side are the state re-mapping options. Just make sure the state mapping is how you want it and change it where it is not.

Also this might help:

had this very issue. deleting and re-creating the bars fixed it.

i suspect it had to do with the fact that i would change the bar "Stance" while having macaroon options open, then try to drag an action to it.

i recreated the bars w/out ever doing that and the problem for me went away.

thanx, i found it. Also, i decided to delete all my bars and use just one with many custom states like this: Resto/Balance Druid

[bonusbar:5]
[mod:alt.spec:1]
[mod:alt,spec:2]
[bar:2]
[form:3,stealth]
[form:3]
[form:1]
[spec:1,form:5]
[spec:2,form:5]
[spec:1]
[spec:2]

BUT, apparently the custom states cap at 9, cause the state 10, and others i created later to test, all share the buttons from the state 1

well, i don't see why you need the last two states you listed there, is there any way those could be worked out of the list? or are they needed for something that only they do?

i just thought, if you removed the unnecessary states from the list, then, problem solved, right?

The way you have ordered those, if you are on actionbar2, it will always show the actionbar2 state regardless of which form/spec you are in.

Also, you have a period instead of a comma in your spec1 alt state (line 2).

Since you have so many spec-dependent states, why don't you just use Macaroon's built-in dual-spec support? Then you will effectively get 2 actual states for each state you type in (one for each spec) and you can just use:

[bonusbar:5]
[mod:alt]
[bar:2]
[form:3, stealth]
[form:3]
[form:1]
[form:5]

[stance:3,mod:alt,mod:shift,stealth,nobonusbar:5]

Note that the second one is there to work around what seems to be a BUG in macaroon... the second one has no buttons. For some reason, when I have more than 10 states, the 11th state and further show a copy of the second state's buttons under their own.
Might this be of help?

Whoever wrote that doesn't seem to understand basic programming logic at all... it would be significantly easier to read and understand rewritten this way:
Code:
[bonusbar:5]
[form:6,dead,nodead]
[form:1,mod:alt,mod:shift]
[form:1,mod:alt]
[form:1,mod:shift]
[form:1]
[form:3,stealth,mod:alt,mod:shift]
[form:3,stealth,mod:alt]
[form:3,stealth,mod:shift]
[form:3,stealth]
[form:3,mod:alt,mod:shift]
[form:3,mod:alt]
[form:3,mod:shift]
[form:3]
[mod:alt,mod:shift]
[mod:alt]
[mod:shift]

Yes, your rewritten version sure is better. However I was more thinking of the statement about the second line if you have more than 11 lines.

ok, i think its time we just asked kehwar what he wants each state to do.

otherwise, we are guessing at what a lot of those states are for, which adds a lot of guesswork to figuring out the fixes he wants.

so, kehwar? could you give us a list (oh, and using the list option in the reply interface would be really cool) of each state's purpose? here's an example of the kind of list i mean, built using the second list of states you posted:
  1. [bonusbar:5] this state is the vehicle state
  2. [mod:alt.spec:1] this state is for my primary spec, with the alt modifier
  3. [mod:alt,spec:2] this state is for my secondary spec, with the alt modifier
  4. [bar:2] this state is for my secondary moves
  5. [form:3,stealth] this state is for stealthed cat form
  6. [form:3] this state is for cat form, when not stealthed
  7. [form:1] this state is for bear form
  8. [spec:1,form:5] this state is for my primary spec's extra shapeshift form (either Moonkin or Tree of Life)
  9. [spec:2,form:5] this state is for my secondary spec's extra shapeshift form (either Moonkin or Tree of Life)
  10. [spec:1] this state is the fallback state for my primary spec
  11. [spec:2] this state is the fallback state for my secondary spec
oh and, btw? just checking, but, why don't you have a the below fallback?
Code:
[]
that fallback state always goes last, and is the "if none of the above fit, use this" state. (oh and, just btw, i used the "code" option for that last state, in the posting window it's the button with the cloud-looking thing with a # over it.)
