How you can fix the glorious MazzeUI

I have seen it posted around various portions of the forums for this amazingly wonderful UI and I am here to create a defenitive answer.

This is what I did to make it work with 0 errors in my setup.

First I started with a fresh install, backed up both the WTF and Interface folders and install Mazz.

After this, run wow WITH outdated mods enabled. WoW will NOT like this at all, so turn off your speakers.

Then I just nexted through through to the end.

Exited WoW

Downloaded WAU from this website . Should be Ver. 1.8.27 in a ZIP file.

Opened it up inside the wow directory.

This is a necessary option change Go to Edit -> Preferences or press F8
Skip VersionCheck TRUE
The reason this is changed is so that it will force update to the newest versions of the mod and ensure compatibility. Also if you dont do a fresh Install it has a problem usually with updating to the newer mods.

Then check for your wow install directory.

Next Edit -> Mark Installed Addons or press F4
Then Scroll down to !!!StandaloneLibraries and check it, these are the externals that would normally be downloaded how ever many times they are needed.
Finally File -> Install/Update all installed addons WITHOUT externals or F12

When its done updating Load wow and choose the complete install and have a Mazzle-gasm, everything SHOULD work, i have 0 errors in Bugsack and ive played for about 5 hours a few times now.

Yes i noticed this too, that when i first ran win ace that F12 was for WITH externals, but when i made the settings changes that this was to run it WITHOUT.

As for problems with .Net 2.0 Framework. The way to get it if your legal is to go to the MS update page (Tools -> Windows Update in Internet Explorer) and click custom, then on the left go to Software, Optional. I believe that there is something in the readme of WAU.

Also when downloading WAU the ".bin" is the source code, so unless u want to tweak it with your own programing, or see how it works or what have you, there is no need to mess with it.

All this will be added to my initial post here to hopefully help more people.

Okay everyone Re-Run WAU lots of new updates all work no errors in my little 20 minute stint in-game

Fizzwidget TrackMenu - Sometimes the Icon doesnt come ontop of the UI but if u click it it shows itself.
Fizzwidget Hunt's Helper - No problems that I have found yet
Fizzwidget Disenchant Predictor - Cant Test
King Of The Jungle - No problems yet
Poisoner - Works wonderfully
OmniCC - Someone else posted that you need to delete !OmniCC because the new folder is just OmniCC which threw me off too.
SpellTips - It seemed okay on my hunter
Clique - Cant Test
Smart Buff and Debuff - seems to work fine
Mazzle's Quickfix for Bongos - its "glorious"
Advanced Trade Skill Window - Seems to work just fine

I did this as well and the only error I got was something with cartographer ... it couldnt find the hyjal maps >_<;; So I just disabled the Cart instance maps *I use atlas*, and works 100%!

I need some help with the WAU.

I got the .net thing installed already but its stll not working for me. In WAU it says "Version Check...Running Latest Version (1.8.27.221)" Then at the bottom is says "Retrieving availible addons" but its loading for quite some time. Can someone verify if it really take that long or is there some problem.

Also i get this error saying "Error loading addon list. The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a receive."

Hopefully someone can help me out here.

This procedure worked perfectly for me, I am now operating with 0 errors. MazzleUI is the best thing to happen to WoW; I can't live without it!

No one knows how to fix the problems?? In the WAU website there are 2 files to be downloaded. Do i need to download the 2 files? And could someone give me an update on how long you guys took to load the addons using the updater.

Wait.... F12 is for Install/Update Marked Addons WITH Externals. Is that what you meant? What's the difference between with or without externals? Thanks.

For those having issues getting the AddOn List: disable your firewall/antivirus

I use the WITH externals as it downloads the addon, not just the libraries or so I pressume.
Still a couple of bugs that float around, but eh much better than running MazzleUI with out the updates.

Already did it since some ppl posted it about mac version fixed, so I had been running it for a few days now and just got a single error from mobinfo but nothing relevant.

Download the .bin file. It really wouldn't have made a difference if you downloaded both anyways...

Well, yea your true. i downloaded both and it still cant work.

Well i am a priest and we r clearing karazhan and i didn't find a single problem after i did the update with wowace mazzle. It works ok maybe a tiny bit of problems now that have to do with addons i added cuz i liked them more...like:

But i confirm it..works ok!

Can't wait for the new version though!

The link to download .net framework is somewhere in this forums. Think its still on the first page. Look around and you'll find it. So no one experienced the problem i had so far??

When I attempt to open up the Ace Updater I get the following error message;
"This application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application."

Any idea what this is and how I can go about fixing it?
