Patch 2.2 Bug Reports

Here is where all bug reports for the 2.2 patch should be placed.

1)All the Smart Buff buttons are gathered in the center of the screen.
2) The FPS, Money, and Lag meter are gathered in the center of the screen.

You can move the FPS, Money, and Lag Meters by hold down alt and dragging them with your mouse.

I can't access the main options for Mazzle. This poses a problem because the MazzleHUD is stuck in the center of my screen (I use another HUD).

Code:
[2007/09/25 14:14:21-153-x1]: MazzleUI-1.1\CustomLibs\ContextMenu.lua:25: attempt to call method 'assert' (a nil value)
AceAddon-2.0-44196 (nQuestLog):927: in function <...\AddOns\nQuestLog\libs\AceAddon-2.0\AceAddon-2.0.lua:920>

AceEvent-2.0-44693 (nQuestLog):955: in function <...\AddOns\nQuestLog\libs\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua:948>

yeh, I dont use the default HUD, have it turned off, BUT my hud from mazzle is turned on, and not being used

archud comes up when i get into combat

xloot does not seem to be working either, as when i looted a wolf (outside of shatt) i got the old loot panel from blizz

hmm..yeh, the mazzle options buttons are not there.. here some errors from today to glomp upon

[2007/09/25 13:36:30-962-x1]: ClearFont2d\Design.lua:31: attempt to index field 'profile' (a nil value)
[2007/09/25 13:53:52-962-x1]: LootLink-350\LootLink.lua:2907: Usage: GameTooltip:SetOwner(frame)

DiscordUnitFrames\DUF_Element.lua:254: in function `DUF_Element_OnEnter'

SuicideKings-306\SuicideKings.lua:588: in function `SuicideKings_OnLoad'
<string>:"*:OnLoad":1: in function <[string "*:OnLoad"]:1>

got some duplicates in there, really need to know a way to just save out the errors in game to a file, so i can load em out of game.... anyway, suffice it to say, i have about 28-30 errors generated just from logging on to my main today.

All of these persist after a full update with WAU (as of 3PM EST on patch day).

HUD stays on (but can be disabled form Mazzle Options on Fubar).

Context Menu error (fix somewhere on the forums, but forget where).

Mouseovers for items in vBagnon don't work (not a Mazzle mod, but others may still use this all-in-one bag mod too).

Find Minerals/Herbs/etc Button is offset. currently appears at the 9 oclock position on the minimap (this is with a 1.6 aspect ratio).

No 3D models in target cave.

Fonts appear a little different...tough to explain, they look larger and less clear in some areas but not in others (I know it's vague, but I'm trying to be thorough).

just did an update of ui central and WAU, so we'll see, eh?

either way, today might not be a terribly fun day

My screen looks the same with the permanent HUD and odd button in the middle of it. My biggest problem is after about 10-15 seconds of being logged in, I get disconnected from server. I have tried 1 suggestion of removing any Sanity folders from the Add-Ons folder but I still get the disconnect. Prior to today's patch, Mazzle worked beautifully. Any ideas how to get rid of the almost instant disconnect?

My context menu doesn't show up at all on click.

Character screen moves on each open which is sometimes partially off screen.

Character images don't show up and buttons for inspect/trade/follow aren't there nor are the empty spaces clickable.

Mazzifier breaks at "Mazzifying Blizzard" in phase 1. It doesn't proceed any further but doesn't seem to affect anything else.

Same errors here

I have the same errors with the patch today. HUD is stuck on, context box not coming up, old loot box coming up, my yellow circle mazzle button that is normally above my right side t6rinket and autobar is gone. Plus i have no sound at all in game, nothing. Ive checked my settings and nothing on them has been changed from what i can tell but still no sound.

Im only showing 4 errors in my bugsack tho.

ContextMenu
XLoot
FuBar_VolumeFu
Glory

Im sure Mazzle will have a fix before long, if possible could you post the fix link here so it will be easier to find and download. Thanx Mazzle for this wonderful interface!!!

Bugsack Errors & More

I decided I'd list my bugsack errors here.

So far my interface looks like all of yours, permanent hud (I can turn it off, but when I restart the game there it is again). Smartbuff button was in the middle, but I did sucessfully move that (shift+click+drag) elsewhere. Also all of the words and such that belong in the right corner are all jumbled in the middle of my screen just like that screenshot that was posted.

Bugsack Errors:

Thats it so far.

I'm standing still and doing nothing to make these errors possible, and every few seconds new ones popup. During the time making this post, I accumulated 9 more errors.

Mazzle Options?

Is there a slash command to get into the Mazzle options? The yellow button on the right is gone now. I have the same screen as the shot above.

I've disabled Sanity and I've not been logged out. I moed the yellow info but want to adjust the HUD. I only want it up when I'm in combat.

Ideas?

I'm at work and so unable to test anything at the moment, but as a quick fix for the ContextMenu errors you should be able to do a find and replace on the file Interface\AddOns\MazzleUI\CustomLibs\ContextMenu.lua search for the string (without quotes) "self:assert" and replace with "assert". I believe that should fix the errors for the ContextMenu, but anything past that will have to be looked at tonight or tomorrow.

Edit: In fact, the asserts most likely should be able to just be commented out. But again, I'm not able to test anything until later.

Clicking on any profession button, either in my quick buttons or through 'P', causes WoW to close and an error report to pop up.

I can post the error log if it would be helpful but it is very very long.

I was under the impression that things were working pretty well on the PTR. That seems odd these things would suddenly crop up when they moved it over.

Just tried replacing self:assert with assert. The context menu will come up now but whenever you add something to one of the slots it fills them all with the same thing.

I just downloaded Mazzle 1.1 and was unable to mazzify it with the bugs that have popped up this patch. /cry. I hope you have a work-around posted sometime soon.

What is the initial state of the context menu before you add a button to it to make it fill up all of the slots? Does it have the correct buttons in place and then fills over them? Does it start out empty?

For a few quick fixes, if you hold down "alt" and drag you can move the time, FPS, Money and cords text. If you hold down shift you can move the Smart buff icon above your head. If you go up to the Fubar bar on the very right side there is a mazzle section with a drop down that lets you into options, in the options you can access they 'Mazzle Hud' section, if you turn the "out of combat" up so it's always visible, then hide it, if will hide the hude lines.

Are we replacing ALL forms of "self:assert" in the contextmenu.lua with "assert"?
