Change the font on floating combat text?

I stopped using Mik before Legion and switched to Parrot 2 through Legion. I'll be honest, I don't find scrolling text useful and well, I'm starting to feel like it's just noise. I want to clean up my screen and go back to good old floating combat text, but I don't like the font. Is there a good mod for adjusting floating combat text? (If I matters I still have Parrot 2 installed, though disabled and I'm using Elvui with Elvui's nameplates. I have Kui installed but disabled.)

If you're using Elvui, then you can have Elv change the combat text font.
General > Media > CombatText Font.

It should have a few options there for you, but if you want more, I'd suggest installing SharedMedia.

this is how i change my fonts, no scripting etc needed.

You can use a mod to change in game fonts. Or you can replace the original game fonts with the fonts you want to use. Create the following folder:
<WoW directory>\Fonts\
Create copies of the font file of your choice, place them in the above folder, and rename them to the following names:
FRIZQT__.ttf (the main UI font - NPC names, player names, spell names, item names, buffs, quest log text, combat text, button text)
ARIALN.ttf (chat font, info text, small text)
skurri.ttf (default unit frame combat text)
MORPHEUS.ttf (mail text, quest log header text)
FRIENDS.ttf (friends list text)

not 100% sure if it works with elvui aswell since i never use it

hope it help

ElvUI (by default) has its own copy of the Shared Media addon, if you have ElvUI installed that is. However, you'd have to keep updating Elvui's Shared Media every time that you updated ElvUI. Either do it Thubz way (I used to have a folder like that in my WoW installation, but I also had ElvUI installed) or go crazy updating ElvUI whenever they update. Which used to be a couple of times a week when I played. Or, you could install Shared Media, but, unless you do it the way Thubz does it, you might not have all of the fonts in your interface changed.

Does this get 100% of the possible font displays?

As far as I could tell (when I played, which was two years ago) , yes. But, that may be dependent on the WoW client that you use (it works for English, but your results may vary for other clients).
