Addon for Guild Standard

Hey,

Do you guys know about any addon that checks the aura range of the guild banners and alerts me in a way when I'm getting close to the 100yds aura border?

i would think power auras could close to what your asking tho im not sure about the range check portion. i do know it can just check to see if u have the effect and let you know when it drops off.

Checking dropoff is another thing. It's too late then. We can't just walk into its range
I'm thinking about a pre-warning. "(Toot), beware, aura drops off in 5 yards"

I don't even think this would be possible since there's no way to get the coordinates for a placed standard.

It would only be possible if:

(a) you dropped the standard yourself, and recorded your position when it was dropped,

or

(b) everyone in your group was running an addon that recorded their position when they dropped a standard and broadcast it to the rest of the group.

If you're in a serious RBG or arena group, (b) is probably viable, but with casual and pickup groups, there's just no way you're going to get everyone to install an addon for you.
