DAB just not working

DAB isn't even listed in the addons place when i log in. I can't figure out what to do. I am so tired of the stupid bars that WoW provides you.

First of all, I have a macintosh. NOw about my question.... I know that v 2.3 and v 2.36 all worked perfectly on my mac. After messing around with the new patch of WoW and version of DAB for a while (and finding that it isn't working) I copied my old interface folder(changed the name) and made a new one. In my new folder (now named interface) i only put in DAB v 3.0. Now after restarting WOW, it showed that I do not have a single addon in my addon folder (which is not true because DAB 3.0 is there). WTF. Then, I put DAB v 2.36 and v 3.0 into my new interface folder. Started up WoW and the only addon that showed was v 2.36 (which has some bugs in patch 1.9) WTF. What do i do?
