Archeology Digsites

I can see the dig sites on my map. But i can't see the outline of how big the site is when i zoom in. Is this a bug or am i missing some setting somewhere to show me the size of my dig sites?

It appears to be a bug. I'm not seeing the red overlays either, just the shovel icons on the main map. Really a pain to work with when you can't see the boundries.

I do not think that carbonite displays the red "digsite area" info — yet. You can see it if you open the Blizz map (alt-M). Frankly, I haven't really missed it.

AFAIK, the red digsite zone isn't handled as an "object" like the shovel icons or Icecrown gunships, and as such cannot be retrieved by addons. My guess is that any addon author who wants the digsite area to show on their maps has to manually add red zones to them that toggles on/off (read: display versus hide) based on the proximity of a digsite shovel icon.
