Custom Cursor help

I used this custom cursor before 3.1:
http://www.wowinterface.com/download...dead.html#info

But i cant get it to show in 3.1, i even tried adding the SET gxCursor "0" to config.wtf file but it still wont show up.

Anyone got any idea how to get it to show?

Thank you

Current theory is that the path or file name of the cursor texture has changed. I haven't had a chance to check.

Code:
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Cursor
Put the .blp image in there and it'll be the default cursor. I don't understand why everyone keeps trying to make this complicated with changing the wtf files....

No one's changing the WTF files. And it's that path that is no longer working.

hehe ya I know what I am doing and that's where my images are that worked before 3.1 and I haven't changed a thing so I can't make it anymore difficult than not changing anything. As stated above my posts everyone who has problems with their cursor not working, worked before the patch and they haven't changed a thing either.

I'm sure people are working on it. Seerah is looking into it as I am sure all the programmers that hate the huge bulky clunky armored hand. It sucks, but everyone is having to deal it.

Code:
ChaosInc Still works fine for me.
Your the only one.

Sorry, forgot to come back to this thread. After extracting the art using the Blizzard Addon Kit, the cursor files are still in the same locations with the same file names. I have no idea why they are no longer being picked up. Not sure if it's a bug or on purpose. But there have been numerous threads about it on the UI & Macro forums...

I never knew there was a custom cursor AddOn for WoW!

Does it take up a lot of memory or is it pretty modest about it?

No, you just had to put some style files at the right position (formerly Interface/Cursor) and WoW would pick up those files and replace them. So there was no need for an Addon and you got rid of this bulky human gauntlet
