Parsing Armory XML using PHP

Exactly what the title of the thread says: I'm wondering how I can do some basic XML parsing using PHP to output my character list (I'd feed the characters' names in an array prior to feeding the XML URL to parse, and use a loop to go through each character in the array)

How would I go about doing this?

Check out http://wow.tachyonsix.com/armory/ . Thats where many are getting their signatures (such as mine below) and all that info comes from the armory site. I think he has his source posted, so I would look there. Perhaps he already has the info you might need/want setup since he has a number of tools there.
