Disconnected, again and again and again and again

after one of the admins here helped me get rid of the undead gothic theme the lag stoped. but then after about 30seconds into gameplay i get disconnected. anyone got any suggestions/ideas of how/why this happening and ways to fix this problem?

I just noticed after doing what th admin told me to do to remove the theme, the files were not replaced when i ran the "Repair" program that blizzard gives you. could this be a reason why i keep getting disconnected??

The only reason you would have (&/or need) files in that folder are if you've either installed a custom mod package like the one you had, or if you've installed the Blizzard CUI (ie if you are a mod developer). Normally there isn't a ..\WoW\Data\Inteface folder at all. It wouldn't be the reason you are having problems.

When was the last time you tried recycling your modem?

The connect - last a minute or two - get disconnected problem sounds a lot like a networking issue. I know from personal experience that some Linksys wireless routers exhibited such behaviour until patched with updated firmware, so it wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility that you're experiencing a similar problem, even if you're using different hardware.

Well, if you're using any kind of DSL router or the like, you could check it has up-to-date firmware.

Might try the WOW tech support site: http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=mww000p&v=71

As I noticed the fist one on the list is: Are you frequently getting disconnected from World of Warcraft?

I followed it and it does take you through steps to check your router.
