Changing the background to transparent is not something you want to do. Most of the space behind the dashboard is just a black bar because nUI sets up a viewport (adjusts the size and location of the world frame). There's almost nothing to see behind the dashboard.

As for moving the location box... that space is shared with the mouseover unit frame. I'm not sure what the benefit is in moving it.

i can have a greater map in that box.

the mo-unitframe is double (see screenshot) - so for me i'd like to move the little frame to another location for me.

so how is that possible?

thanks.

Well... the mouseover unit frame does things the tooltips do not such as display raid icons for targeting, auras, curses and so on.

To move that, you would have to move the mouseover unit frame in all of the unit frame panels as well as moving the location box itself.

You'll need to edit [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > UnitPanels > {panel mode} > nUI_UnitPanel_{panel mode}.lua ] for all of the unit panels to move the mouseover frame. Then you'll need to edit [ Interface > AddOns > nUI > Layouts > Default > nUI_Layout_Default_Dashboard.lua ] to change the position of the location box.

sounds like work

maybe you find in another version a better -more square- way, to include the map.

Well... the map already is included and square... so I'm not sure what you're after there. If you want a larger map, you could try the info panel minimap, or you can use '/nui minimap' to turn nUI's management of the minimap off entirely.

the space on the sides of the map is used up when switching to the raid panels which is why the map is that size it also doubles as the location for the focus frame when you have one set so covering it up with anything is a bad idea

may i suggest Basicminimap, it will go as a background map and still be big enough to see nodes while farming and still have use of the basic nUI frames see screen shot for example.

Coke

Edit: You will also notice in the Party/Raid form you can still see everything but it does cover the edge of the map but the map is underneith so no worries.
