I just want to echo everyone's thanks to Cairenn. I really appreciate all the time and effort that has gone into this. Hopefully it comes good.

I am not a mod author like all you guys are. However, I have been reading this forum with some interest, watching to see if the authors whose mods I like and use have signed up. Some yes and some I haven't seen their names in the posts but they may already be in beta or just not posting here.

All that being said, and not really amounting to anything, the reason for this post is to say Thank You to the authors.

I hope the current frustration with not receiving your beta keys from Blizzard will come to end soon and that all of you will get in to Beta and get your mods ready for the January release date. If, unfrotunatly, the hungry void of the internet eats your invitation please don't blame Blizzard or Wow interface and please don't leave us non programing end users without the mods we have come to depend on.

Oh yeah, and a very big Thank You to Cairenn and the rest at WoW Interface.

Well, some good news guys. Two more keys just showed up, they've been posted about over on the Blizz thread.

More good news!

I decided to test to see if I even COULD get e-mails from [email protected], so I sent a nice, polite e-mail to the address and (of course), got an automated bounce. The automated bounce wasn't any help, but it DID include an address I could contact regarding "game key issues." I shot an e-mail to that address, politely, precisely, and verbosely describing why I was expecting a beta key, that I had not received one, and the things I had done in an attempt to ensure that the problem couldn't possibly be mine (or Cair's!).

I had my key within an hour.

*further edit* Until I hear otherwise from Cair, I'm not going to give out the e-mail address at all. Sorry!

Thanks again for all your efforts in helping us out, Cair!

( And yes, it was to the one dealing with beta key issues. )

Anyway, I would like to thank Cairenn and the rest of the WoWInterface team for this opportunity. As I mentioned a few posts ago, I have an interesting mod in development that would be a shame to see it die before it got any use. Once again, thanks for all of your efforts. ( And listening to us complain. You have the patience of a saint, Cairenn! )

I did this as well. Now, we wait and hope.


If only there was some kind of consistency with these missing emails. As far as I can tell, there is nothing that all of the cases hold in common.
