Did that last year in Master 1. We copied the game on the shared HDD. It used to take ages to load UT2004, with many people accessing a network HDD at the same time, but after that, we were like 20 in a room on decent 22'' LCD screens / dual core 2.4GHz / 4Go of decent RAM comps (with no good GFX card though

The default player name was the name of one of the teachers, which made it quite fun, because most of the time, when you made someone's head explode with a well aimed Bio-Riffle or Flak-Canon shot, you just felt very good seeing the name

When I was at school, they hadn't got no computers yet (talking late 70s/early 80s). So we just played Dungeons and Dragons and Runequest and Call of Cthulu etc at the back of the class. Not to mention burning rolls of magnesium ribbon. Man that was bright!!

Wow... I just got hit with the nostalgia-hammer. Add Rolemaster, MERP, Paranoia, and Werewolf/Vampire in there. Yes, we used to play games using pen, paper, and imagination.

I used to sit and play Gorilla in Dos Basic for hours... if that tells you anything. lol They actually had typewriters when I was in high school and the electric ones were a very big deal. :P
