Best place to learn LUA?

Lately, I have been thinking about taking over an old release of a UI and updating it for legion but my LUA skills are zero to none but I learn fairly quick. Where would be the best place to learn LUA? I've checked out the wiki and a few other articles but they were not quite clear. Any help?

Many thanks,

MaximumOverdrive

Here's some books - http://wowprogramming.com/store

Here's also a lot of nice resources - http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=43699

Practically all of my knowledge in the languages I am familiar with are self taught from looking at source codes. I have bought a book or two over the last 16 years and they were helpful but, source code to me was the most helpful option, especially if it was decently documented.

Another tip, just because it bugs several unnamed people: it's Lua, not LUA. The word is Portuguese for "moon", and not an acronym.

Even some addon authors keep calling it "LUA" and I've come to accept it when the name is called like that
http://www.lua.org/about.html#name

The problem is when you point it out, some people think you're being condescending or something...
Would they also write JAVA or PYTHON? Hope not :x

I believe it is an acronym: Lua User Acronym

I believe its believe and not belive

Back on topic.
I learned (trying to learn) Lua by writing addons and study what other addon authors wrote.

Or study the blizzard code. They have a valid idea or two
