In all seriousness.. an in game error due to an addon is not going to make blizzard think you are botting. There is nothing in the API ( the way the addons connect to the game ) that will allow an addon developer to let you automate anything. Especially now.

I would generally assume as much, but I have no experience with how WoW mods work behind the scene and the way that it was blinking made me think it was sending a lot of <something> to the server. Faster than any human could. Just didn't want a false positive script flag on my account. I doubt it would happen but all the same.

the reality of it is, botters use outside software that isn't an addon and get away with it everyday. the only real way to catch a botter is through blizzards ability to scan your software in the background (which they do) and check for specific software that flags your account.

Addon glitches happen all the time, even with what you said it's not bot like tendency, which isn't a banable offense either.

Lua error

Please try to change in Carbonite\NxMap.lua on line 2291:

Lua Code:
  1. if self:ClipMMW (mm, self.PlyrX, self.PlyrY, sz, sz) then

to

Lua Code:
  1. if sz ~= nil and self:ClipMMW (mm, self.PlyrX, self.PlyrY, sz, sz) then

and try again.

Reason: scales are currently only initialized from 1..6, but trying to be used in clipping from 1..7.

When your encountering errors, please include if your in a Draenor zone or not (and if possible which zone)

It helps me with knowing if it's an error with the general mapping code, or if it's an error because i'm still missing something from adding the Draenor zones.

I continually get:

GetPos Err:9004: Carbonite\NxMap.lua:9199: in function
'GetWorldPos'
Carbonite.Social\NxSocial.lua:1952 in function 'UpdateIcons'
Carbonite\NxMap.lua:4512 in function 'Update'
Carbonite\NxMap.lua:3746: in function
<Carbonite\NxMap.lua:3671>

This spams chat over and over so chat doesn't work at all because of this.

However, Carbonite functions perfectly other than it doing this. Been all over Draenor with it working and showing all the quests etc.

It does this regardless of being in Draenor or the old zones.

Thanks

Adam

Not sure if this is related to the beta or just my own messed up settings: when in caves/indoors, I have to keep the minimap docked, otherwise a giant black circle appears on the map around my character - Ideally I want the minimap off, so that I can see ore nodes on the carbonite map while in caves/garrison mine/etc, as well as utilizing the "drawn" maps. Is this a beta bug or my own settings?

Also, Rythal, <3 - Carbonite has been a staple of my WoW play for years now, thanks again for taking your time to fix what is an essential component of play for so many people!

Coming along nicely, thanks a lot Rythal and everyone else who is pitching in.

To help keep this thread from flowing over with bug reports among other things I started a thread here http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...748#post300748 for pre alpha bugs so that they are easier to track.

If Rythal would like any other information posted along with what I have shown in the bug reports he can feel free to modify the post with that info.

The only thing I can see that may be helpful is some sort of versioning for the github but for now date and time downloaded should suffice.

Once we have something like a real release candidate, Rythal can use branches or tags in order to make version tracking easier.
