DAB Control Boxes

DAB used control boxes to allow you to be able to open up action bars. It was a fantastic way to reduce space on a UI for non-combat events(buffs/tradeskills...ect) I am currently using bongos, and was curious if its possible to make a UI(or is there one?) that would create a control box(or 4) to "hide" actionbars til you mouseover/click on the text.
