Druid - Bear

Just a quick skim...I use a saitek (http://www.saitekusa.com/usa/prod/cupro.htm) so I am not much help for suggesting layouts. However I did notice that you missed lacerate in bear form. Essential for tanking.

Also..not sure how you would incorporate it but I am a fan of macros when key binding. Ie one button does multiple functions. button 7 in my layout does a Pounce if stealthed and a mangle if not. Button 5 does a Ravage if stealthed or a shred if not.

While I like this setup I feel it is not "keyboard friendly" something Mazzle tries to go for. If you notice on a lot of his spells, they are mostly on the left side (things you can reach with your left hand). See if you can get anything to work just by using your left hand (Alts, Shifts, Controls).

Top Bar 1-9 (Right)
1. Attack
2. Lighting Bolt
3. Chain Lightning
4. Earth Shock
5. Flame Shock
6. Frost Shock
7. Heroism (alliance), Bloodlust (Horde)
8 Enh. Stormstrike (Enhansement Talent),
8 Res. Nature's Swiftness (Restoration Talent)
8 Ele. Elemental Mastery (Elemental Talent)
9 Enh. Shamanistic Rage (Enhansement Talent)
9 Res. Earth Shield (Restoration Talent)
9 Ele. Totem of Wrath (Elemental Talent)

Notes for this Row:
I put the Talent hotkeys for each of the 3 diffrent builds for shamans (Enhansement, Elemental, and Restoration) in slots 8 and 9 since not all shamans will spec to 41 points in a tree build.

Middle Bar (Right)
Alt 1. Healing Wave
Alt 2. Lesser Healing Wave
Alt 3. Chain Heal
Alt V. Gift of the Naaru (Racial for Draenei) *NEW*, War Stomp (Tauren), Blood Fury (Orc), Berserking (Troll)
Alt 4. Cure Disease
Alt 5. Cure Poison
Alt 6. Ancestral Spirit
Shift 1. Earth Elemental Totem *NEW BC*
Shift 2. Fire Elemental Totem *NEW BC*

Notes for this Row:
I added the Keys for Shift 1 and Shift 2 for the Shamans 2 pets.

I put the Placement of Alt V for the racials next to the Heals since I play a Draenei Shaman and that was the logical spot for next to the Heals.

Bottom Row (Right)
Z. Ghost Wolf
Lighting Shield (Unbound)
Water Shield (unbound) *NEW BC*
Water Breathing (unbound)
Water Walking (unbound)
Flametongue Weapon (unbound)
Frostbrand Weapon (unbound)
Rockbiter weapon (unbound)
Windfury Weapon (unbound)

Notes for this Row:
Left the row as is for keys with the exception moved the Hotbar #9 to the middle row to insert the 2 hotkeys for Elemental Pets. Also added another hotkey spot for Water Shield a new BC spell.

Top Bar (Left)
R. Purge
Ctr 1. Earthbind Totem
Ctr 2. Flametongue Totem
Ctr 3. Fire Nova Totem
Ctr 4. Magma Totem
Ctr 5. Searing Totem
Ctr 6. Windfury Totem
Ctr 7. Wrath of Air Totem *NEW BC SPELL*
Ctr 8. Totemic Call *NEW To Layout*
Notes for this Row:
Added the hotkey for Wrath of Air the new BC spell for Shamans that all races, and builds get at level 64. Added Totemic Call to Ctr 8 seemed like the easiest place to add the spell.

Middle Row (Left)
G. Healing Stream Totem
V. Mana Spring Totem
Alt C. Poison Cleansing Totem
Shift F1. Windwall Totem
Shift F2. Tranquil Air Totem
Shift F3. Stoneskin Totem
Shift F4. Stoneclaw Totem
Shift F5. Sentry Totem

Notes on This Row:
Made no changes

Bottom Row (Left)
Alt D. Disease Cleansing Totem
Alt F. Tremor Totem
X. Grounding Totem
Shift F6. Fire Resistance Totem
Shift F7. Nature Resistance Totem
Shift F8. Frost Resistance Totem
Shift F9. Grace of Air Totem
Shift F10. Strength of Earth Totem

Notes on this Row:
No changes made.

Well I hope this helps for shamans once again this is based on the point of a view of a level 70 Draenei Shaman that leveled as Enhansement build.

I noticed that and placed it in the layout for Mazzle. Thanks for pointing it out, though.

You're right, this setup is not keyboard friendly. However, I have never seen a Shaman setup that is. If you look at the two existing Shaman layouts that MazzleUI already has included, they both use keys that are very difficult to reach with the left hand. This layout is no different than those two.

I used the Mazzle setup I just added about 4 or 5 of the new spells that came out with Burning Crusade and the ones that Draenei Shamans got. This setup is not very left hand key friendly maybe like other Mazzle has for other classes. I was just going by the request of Mazzlefiz that not to create any new key binding layouts. I just adapted the shaman layout to add the new skills.

Hey JP. I'm a prot-spec warrior, no other alts, so I can only provide input on that. I've checked through the warrior layout you've done and, from a tanking perspective, it covers most of the bases however Shield Wall is missing. This is one of the more critical skills and needs to be in the list somewhere. Given it's an all-stances ability, I'd consider putting it on the bottom-right bar as Slam/Shield Wall. Certainly, as prot, I've never had occasion to use Slam and I expect Shield Wall is of little use to ARMS/Fury Warriors...

Aside from that, all looks good. I'm, of course, assuming that there will be no Macros. Most tanks use things like a fear-dance macro (Berzerker - Berserker Rage - Defensive) etc.

In the actual layout, every 30-minutes-skill is bind on "T", depending on your stance. Perhaps he just forgot to post it. And no, there is no room for any macros. Since warriors need at least a million of buttons, I suggest you buy a keyboard like the G15 or something

Shield Wall is covered under the "everything else remains unchanged" that I posted at the bottom. =D

Rocketdog is correct. All of the 30-minute timers are on a single button that changes based on your stance. Shield Wall is certainly covered on that button.

Canna, thanks for catching that. I didn't notice it was missing. I've added it on the "Top Bar (Left)" to Ctrl. 8, and moved Totemic Call to Ctrl. 9.

Warlock Bars

Alright I know this isn't in the correct format and all, but it's only because I want 1 spell to be moved. I am specced Affliction, and after I get Unstable Affliction, I stopped using Immolate. You should have something that checks what spells you have learned, and if UA is one of them, make it hotkey 2. also, since i wanted immolate on my bars for the occasional boss fight, I opened up bongos and chose to display empty buttons. Turns out, there was one, so i put immolate into there and set it to hotkey 5, since that button wasn't used by your layout. (At least for Aff spec) Hope this helps some.

Just so no one has any expectations... these new layouts are NOT CURRENTLY PLANNED to be in the next version of MazzleUI. They are a very high priority, but the amount of work required for it would push the next version further out than Mazzle wants to go.

That also means, more ideas/suggestions/submissions are more than welcome. =) There's plenty of time for it. We currently have every class reviewed, but new ideas are always welcome.

While I tend to agree that some button placements aren't ideal (I too moved my buttons around on my UA warlock), it would take a lot longer to code little if/then button scenarios for a bunch of specs then it would for you or I to hold down the Ctrl key and drag the UA button and swap it with the Immolate button

The priority lists I described in my post already easily do what you describe. You just put UA first on the list and put immolate lower on a list somewhere else on the same bar.

One sugguestion I could make would be to add a 'macro' bar that would consist of 4-5 buttons that you would drag down your favorite macros to but would be pre-bound to say num keypad 5-9, and 5-9 or something thereabouts. I know you can do this today manually by adding buttons and squeezing them in, but to have a preset space on the layout would be very helpful for all classes.

Some layouts include this, other layouts simply do not have room for such a thing. Need to remember that the smaller aspect ratios have a harder time fitting all the bars and buttons within the space allotted.

The best thing I can recommend is what you already said, manually adding these on your own. Basically, if a layout has room for a macro bar, it already has one. I don't play all of the classes, so I don't know this for sure. If you can give me a layout that has room for it, but doesn't have a macro bar... I can look into it for you.

1) Thanks for getting back to me, and how exactly do I do this though? Is it a configuration of bongos?

2) I noticed today while playing my priest alt that you don't put Holy Fire on the interface. Any reason for this?

I know mazzle doesn't do eta's and thats ok with me. Just more curiosity then anything for me, but when do you think these new layouts might go live?

So, basically you're saying "I know you don't do eta's, but what's the eta?".
