Okay so I updated and once again the folder is in the correct place so where the heck is carbonite? why will it now show up ingame?

From what your screen shot shows me is that your putting the whole carbonite under one folder. There should be four folders for carbonite in the addon folder and they are carbonite, carboniteitems, carbonitenodes and carbonitetransfer. What I reckon is that all four of them folders are in that carbonite folder. If those four folders are in that folder move them out into the addon folder.

That is a common mistake when doing a Mac install, since unzipping a file makes a folder using the zip file name.

You should have 4 folders:

World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Carbonite
World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CarboniteItems
World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CarboniteNodes
World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\CarboniteTransfer

Move them from the unzip folder to the AddOns folder.

Well you know last update it needed to be all in one folder. I had trouble with it showing up in game then too and had to redo it so all the folders were in one. Should I do a search and find that post? I am not a total freaking idiot like this makes me feel sometimes.

Mac install of addons is the same as PC (each addon folder into WoW AddOns folder). It has been that way for many years and probably Blizzard always did it like that.

Carbonite consists of 4 separate addons. Each of those addon folders goes into the AddOns folder.

S they are there now and all I see is the mini map icon. I can open the menu but NOTHING works.
