In the meantime I have arranged to heal with ag_UnitFrames raidframes. They show all the buffs (not missing buffs ais PerfectRaid) and filtered debuffs I am able to cure/remove. Well, I can live with that, although without losing too much screen realestate it has to be scaled down and is not nearly as easily readable as PerfectRaid.

I had to chew about the dropping Ace2 bit, but hey, whatever suits you suits me. Patiently awaiting the new versions arrival.

Hi,

since I was really really annoyed with the available Raid Frames around, I worked something out yesterday evening using ag_unitFrames, and I now have something that at least behaves a little like PerfectRaid... far from perfect, but definitely muuuuuch better.

You can see what it looks like here:

(just uncompress the file to World of Warcraft/WTF/<account>/SavedVariables/

There are already a few differences from the screenshot:
  • Buffs are hidden. The side effect is that debuffs are hidden as well, but frames are colored based on the debuff on the unit
  • I have removed the border for better readability
  • Group names are hidden
If I find ways to make it more readable, maybe I'll do it, but it will merely remain a trick until Cladhaire can pull something out

AGUF is a horrible alternative, but right now one that emulates praid somehow. It's pretty buggy though and has some really weird behavior in some situations.
Lets hope Cladhaire is going to release a working version soon. Alpha with just the bars would be enough for me to start with
