A good DPS Meter...

I was wondering what DPS meter people are using with the nUI+. I have recently returned to WoW and I'm noticing the meter that was included with the package is no longer there (or at least it seems to me there was one, hell maybe I'm wrong about that ;P )

I recommend Skada and it's integrated into nUI when you install it.

I've used Recount, then tried Skada, then went back to recount. I'm finding recount more accurate and misses less stuff than Skada does in general.

Bot for a bird's eye view of everything, either should work.

I like Skada better than Recount mainly because it shows threat meter while in combat then shows meter of choice out of combat.

I'm having a problem w/ Skada in the Info panel: It shows 2 charts...why? I only want one showing at all times. I went to options and deleted 1 chart but when I log off and log back on same toon, both charts are back!

What am I missing???

Skada's infopanel is built into nUI and nUI automatically creates 2 windows. I remember someone talking about this before but can't remember Scott's reply on it.

The nUI integration of Skada is designed to use two charts in combat as this is the configuration most commonly requested. It uses one chart to show your threat in combat and the other to show DPS. Out of combat it shows you damage and DPS.

There's no way to get rid of the extra chart I'm afraid and to be honest, changing that is not at the top of my priority list. Perhaps in the future when I can get nUI6 done and get my life caught back up.

I'd recommend Recount.

On a totally unimportant side - note.

Recount can also show threat, albeit not at the same time as showing damage. But then again, if you're interested in knowing threat, then you're likely playing a tank, and you'd have the threat meters shown. If you need to have threat meters shown as DPS, because you're pulling aggro, then you need to talk to your tanks...
