Anyone know the name of the font (img)?

Found 2 images on wowbash with that font, assume it's a UI compilation but couldn't figure out the exact one -perhaps someone here can identify the font name and share it with me?

Thanks!

Off-topic: Looking for a neat font that is not too wide, similar to Myriad Pro but that also supports accents € µ e.g. Myriad Pro is around 200KB and assume that smaller fonts support less characters, perhaps someone know a good font searching site that supports advanced search?

If it is part of a compilation, you can find where it's storing it's fonts (or which addon has the fonts and where they are stored), and rename them 1 (or a small group at a time) and log back in until the font changes from what you have in the image.

Can narrow it down pretty easy that way.

You may want to check Calibri (quite popular in wow as it was featured in ClearFont addon, it is also included in modern Windows and Ms Office).

It's just a screen I found on wowbash, not my compilation.

Tried Calibri but didn't seem to be it, hmm... perhaps it's just my resolution that makes Calibri look different than the picture but *shrug*

That looks to me like Franklin Gothic (Medium).

Also, Myriad Pro is an expensive commercial font and one of the best-looking in the world so it's hard to come up with a free alternative that also has a small font size.

Bitstream Vera is okay-looking at 64kb.

Expressway looks kinda neat and quirky (it's a road sign font) at 61kb.

That FontSquirrel site has a lot of free fonts that you can browse through.
