Question stat addon

hi,

im looking for an addon that tells u what your hit cap, expertise cap, spell damage ,etc etc should be for any given toon, id find this easier to use rather then using forums and trying to remember all the different caps/numbers for all my different toons (ffs i have 5 80s, 2 73s, and 1 44,38 XD)

thank you for any help/advice on this ^^

i just use Gearscore

i target myself, type"/gs" and mouse over the current spec I am in. It tells me my hit cap, and other stats and flags me when i have stats that arent the best for me

also ElitestGroup will do the same thing if you scan yourself

For spellcasters, I tend to use TinyCasterStats. There are also versions available for melee (TinyMeleeStats) and hunters (TinyHunterStats), but since I prefer casters I rarely play those classes. :P

this shows you the total % hit chance you have (both from talents and hit rating) it is good, though I think that the OP is looking for an addon that will also tell him what the hit cap is :P

Hit cap varies depending the level of the mob you are fighting, pvp hit cap, raid boss, dungeon boss... I think he just don't want to remember all these hit caps (though it is pretty easy :P )

When the 4.0 patch hits, you'll be able to see whether you're capped or how close you are in the default UI, on your character sheet, just by hovering over your Hit Rating or Expertise stats. It's pretty nifty.

What VgerAN said! It will be part of the default UI next patch. Also, you don't really need to worry about these numbers until you reach the level cap and are involved in something like pve raids or arena.

Well, until that point, I do know MageNuggets shows your hit chance in percent up until you can't miss (taking into account your talents, buffs on you, and debuffs on your target), at which point it would display "capped" instead of a percentage. Not sure if that works for other spellcasting classes though.

For melee, I don't know.

I don't think you'd need to remember any numbers come next patch. You'd just want a zero percent chance to miss, be dodged, etc.

I found this addon, maybe it would be helpful? http://www.wowinterface.com/download...erfectHit.html

Anyway, make Ryo-Ohki proud!
