Item Level Display for Alts

I'm hoping someone knows of or could make a simple addon for me.

I use Chocolate Bar with a variety of Broker plug ins, the only thing I'm missing is a plug in that shows the Item level of my alts.

I don't need anything really fancy, just something that will have an icon(with or without text) on ChocolateBar and the tooltip will show the the Equiped item level of my alts. I have seen a lot that show your current characters Ilvl which is great, I'm hoping for additional functionality with a tool tip display.

If this is possible great if not thanks for reading.

I rigged up a basic addon that seems to do what you want. Server went down before I got a chance to screen shot it working after I ironed out the bugs.

I'll post it up officially in a while, once I have a screenshot when the server comes up, but here's a zip of the addon.

Displays in titan panel fine with the main button showing your currently logged in characters Name (Class) - ILevel. Click on that button will show your recorded server list of characters, highlight the server name to see the characters it has on record on that server with the last recorded iLevel.

It uses the minimum required databroker lib files for it to work and they're included in the download.

Assuming your server isn't down yet, let me know if it isn't quite what you're looking for and let me know what you want thats different.

I'd suggest using Altoholic. It's made for storing and displaying all sorts of info about your alts.

I've tried altolholic, and i find it bloated and cumbersome.

I just need a simple tooltip display not a full package like Altoholic.

Ok have it installed and the tooltip shows up from ChocolateBar.

However the tooltip only says:

0(E)/0(T)

I am assuming it's not retrieving the Item level info properly.
Other then that it works nicely.

That showed for me at first too for my first character. I think it doesn't have the information available straight away. So by the time the menu is created it hasn't got the latest value for your current character, which, come to think of it I should have realised I can fix straight off *slaps head*. For now do a reload of the UI for each of your characters and it should slowly build a list of your toons.

Aha, figured it out.

It was an event thing .. there's a new event to track when average item level is ready when you first log in.

Gave it a shot and it works well.

I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth but if I may I'd like to make a request.

Rather then having to mouseover then click the box to get the realm list is it possible to just have it show the toon

IE
Mouseover:
Toon 1
Toon 2
ETC

Rather then click the extra clicking?

If it's a lot more work or too cumbersome I'm happy with how it is.

It is possible but there is a limit as to how many items you can have in a single menu list.

Perhaps an alternative, say left click to see all other toons on the current realm ( no more than 10 ), right click to show all realm characters.

I'll look into it and see what I can do.

Scratch that, even better, mouseover will display current server toons and clicking will give access to other servers.
