No lua errors with the beta but in Arathi Basin when I mouse over the map the map becomes black. In WSG no problem.

Here is one for you. It's in Un'Goro. It should be a good one to test, since it is at the very start of a chain.

Upon completion, you are prompted with a popup on the standard UI quest tracking feature, but if you have Carbonite running, you'll have to disable it to turn it in. The question mark appears on the Carbonite mep at the questgivers original location, but you cannot turn it in to him. He actually follows you around for this quest, but you can't turn it in to him either (whether or not you have Carbonite running).

This is driving me nuts, since it appears there are quite a few new quests that use this feature scattered around.

Hi, thank you so much for Carbonite, it is amazing.

My father downloaded the new beta version, and I was sharing a quest with him.

On one of his characters, all quests in his list that have objectives, say 'objective not in the database'.

ALL of his other characters are fine; All of my characters are fine on my account, and all of my Husband's characters are fine on his account.

But just one of his characters has this problem. He has tried a few quests, and they are all 'objective not in the database'.

He has checked that the 'show quests for levels below....' setting, and it is set at 80, so it isn't that.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Same problem for me. I had to delete my carbonite.lua and carbonitetransfers.lua files from the SavedVariables directory. Then it worked like a charm.

it came back with new quests for me though :-(

i just got carbonite back into the game and i must say your a genious i have been lost since the patch on questing my pally. every add on i find just does not compare to carbonite. thank u so very much for your hard work in makin this add on for dummies like me.

Well, on an English language client, generally no apparent bugs(*) except for the map in Ruins of Glineas - I don't see the map in detail, its just a colored blur - except if i move the pointer onto another map - then it becomes visible.





(* and of course there is the bug where it doesn't update to the map of where i am but shows another area, but that bug has been there since version 1.1 or something like that so i'm getting used to it as a feature )

When the new WOW patch loaded I lost my carbonite map and quest watch list. I could not even get the WOW map when I clicked m. The only way I could get the WOW map was to unload Carbonite. I tried everything I could find on these forums, but nothing worked. Finally I downloaded the beta and it is working fine. I love your addon. Living without my Carbonite is just not acceptable. Thank you guys for your great work.

Issue with phasing content and auto-complete quests giving a follow-up.

See attached screenie for further information.
If carbonite is enabled , it will ignore the quest completion popup resulting in being stucked in various phases.

I had to disable carbonite to finish quite a couple of quests.
If I did not disable carbonite I was unable to further continue questing in a phased content zone.

As you can see in the screenie I also submitted a ticket but then I found out it was carbonite blocking the popup I closed the ticket.
Please can you look into this?

No LUA error or any other addon errors.

You are using 4.013, which does not work with patch 4.0.3a. Get the Carbonite beta version from the link in the first post of this thread.

Carbonite does not show mining locations in northrend, have not checked the other areas yet. Using version 4.030106

low level quest that you can do can be found in the deadmines dungeon. Queue up for a random, get the quest from the NPC in the dungeon, kill the first boss and complete the quest. It'll prompt you with a completion bubble and then allow you to continue on to the next quest.

The prompt for the next quest is usually triggered by walking into the next area where the next objective for that quest is.

*edit* level 15-21 according to the dungeon finder, so fairly early on

The beta clears (one time) all recorded node locations. If you had imported from CarboniteNodes, you will need to do it again. CarboniteNodes has had all old world nodes removed.

Been working on German, French, Spanish and Russian client problems, since they have nothing that works. Now that those work, I'll start looking at this.

The problem is the button/message looks like it is in the Blizzard watch list, which we hide, so I'll have to add something like that.
