they're working on it, It needs a lot of work to bring it back up to scratch. Give it a few weeks or so might be some more info by then, its just finishing a "what needs done" check over atm.

On the last several pages of the 3.0 thread, you can read that twobits, Yhor, and mikey2k are starting to get things done.

Just wait for their progress

Yea...thats what people said in october though, I know some people have gotten the mazzifier working though, if they could get the new barmods into it and the 3d dolls they could have a mazzle ui download with just those basic features then continiually add it up whenever something is done....just my suggestion

It's a bit more complex then that since Bongo's doesn't work properly in Wrath and DUF has a major memory leak issue they are looking at other unit frames /bar mods that will work in such a way that it still has the MazzleUI feel to it. From what I gather progress is being made so keep checking in on the forums for updates i'm sure they are as anxious to get a working release out as much as everyone else.

Yea, the clone i am using right now is using dominos the spiritual successor to bongos, I feel with a littl e work it could be put in with to much hastle, and for the unit frames I know someone in the post said they were working on one that would be like t, of course you could zero in on pitbull and find a way to do it. Also I was thinking that you could use the database used in zmob excep install it into the mazzle 3d dolls so it has all of the enw creature support.

Yea but none have posted any breakthroughs either though, leaving me and others wondering how they are doing.....It would be awesome though if they could do as i said though and just release what they have once the barmod is in then continually update at any breakthroughs it would make people feel better about how things are going, I have been talking to twobits to and he said he thought a different group was working on it and i thought he was part of the group working on it so....im very confused

UnitFrames is me. They aren't offically being made of Mazzle, but as I was writing them to replace, DUF they should quite happily fill in the spot.

none directly to do with mazzle past I'm on a few weeks deadline to get the UnitFrames up at least to useable standard (feature incomplete), so my guess would be that they're wanting to push on and get things done.

Me "being on the team", was a misunderstanding. I'll continue to work on an oUF layout, just in case, but I don't have much 'dedicated time' for it until early to mid February.

I think, with the exception of a bar mod, that the "look n feel" options are looking close to being done (only noting this from what I've seen in screenshots). The Mazzlefier isn't as simple as replacing a couple mods, adding a couple lines of code, and then voila, it's fixed. It has a sequence that it follows during the setup of all of the included mods that has to fire perfectly in order to complete.

This all takes time and is very tedious work. Please be patient and don't scare the folks working on it off .

ok just to give you a bit of insight into what needs to be done,

first of all theres the mazzifier, when blizzard patched to wotlk they changed the api and not only did they screw barmods by making the templates secure they also got rid of the way option frames worked. lots of api was changed and this was the issue for mazzle.

on top of that 3rd party mods like ace 2 and ace 3 took a major set back and all the mods using it broke, more creatures were added to the game and im sure mazzlefizz had added to the ace libraries so simply doing an update with curse or wowmatrix will just install clean versions removing code that was added

discord unit frames has a major memory leak, so fighting 6 mobs and up causes so much lag that a level 80 can be killed on a run through sm lol trust me i tired it.

rosterlib is no longer in developement and will need to be worked on if the author allows, now beside this and many other addons breaking and not being updated, we also have the issue where we can not release anything with out prior permission from mazzlefizz as the original code has been copyrighted and he does not want it plagerised, so any pre release would have to go through him and he will decide to release it and will give respective thanks and credit to those that manage to get it running

this is a very delicate subject and mazzle is watching very close, last thing we need to do is upset him by releasing a version with out his say so

so in summery, you need to just sit back and hold tight, and hopefully once we have got our heads together we can forward a finished artical to mazzle and await his approval

until then, why not try a clone they are all very close, if you want something that will auto setup for you try arkiveui which is downloadable on this site

You guys have to understand that the things that made MazzleUI cool are also the things that made MazzleUI brittle and difficult to develop. Some of the things you guys mention like getting the Mazzifier to show up are actually very trivial steps. Even making a new unit frame layout is not that big a deal. The parts that are hard, as Mikey2k alluded to, are the parts that interface with other add-ons and the parts that deal with all the possible permutations across screen resolutions, character class and mazzifier options. With so many of those add-ons now obsolete or changed drastically, a lot of that will probably need to be redone. It can be done, but it will take a lot of effort.
