Back on topic. Hopefully all goes well for you, TG. Currently dealing with some weird Visa issues myself, and the one thing I've learned is that governments are afraid, very afraid, of letting people into their country. "No, our land! You go now! *beat chest*" :S

Also yes, Australia has some of the harshest restrictions for this; pretty much if you don't have a job they might want, you're not getting in xD

You couldn't cause emotional injury to me, I just like poking Lily.

Governments are a pain, I'm just more pissed that I'm from there and I can't even get back in, at least not right now. By there, I mean pure blooded 100% German, not "born there" like a lot of US individuals. After all, Germany has tons of US bases.

I just heard from the Lawfirm, they are filing injunctions with the German consulate. I had to send over my birth records, ID, and my letters from the US consulate granting me US citizenship here.

They assured me that it may take a month or two but they gaurantee they will get my nationality back! If they don't do it, I pay a nominal filing fee (which is not terribly large, and was disclosed up front) and nothing else. If they are successful than it's going to run me about $3500, which I'm perfectly fine with. I would rather pay that and have my birth nation back then to not and (no offense) be stuck with US citizenship.

So today is a good day. I'm going outside to do cartwheels!
