[Weak Auras] Tracking uptime of new-style elementals

Hello everyone,

So I'm looking to update my Weak Auras to track when my elementals are active. Pre-7.0 it was simple as the elementals were bound to a totem, but now they're not. Using an event tracker addon, I haven't found any event that indicates that the elemental disappears. I mean, I could make the aura to just start a timer for 1 minutes (15 seconds for Earth Elemental), but this wouldn't accommodate the death of an elemental.

Maybe I'm missing something, anyone have any insight on this?
