Not running in windows 7

I know this has already been answered, as i got it working before reinstalling it, but now i have search and search and even checked all posts in this forum to no avail.

I'm running windows 7 RC 1

Just downloaded Minion for a clean install

Making the launch.bat file suggested elsewhere does nothing.

Reinstalling Java does nothing.

Minion just doesn't start.

I remember the old fix i found was something i added in the shortcut property.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What launch.bat file?

I am running on Windows 7 with no problems right now.

Can you try running the JAR file from wherever you installed it directly?

the launch.bat file was a workaround mentioned in another thread, nothing that came with the minion.

Running the .jar file from the dir does work however, odd.

You can change the 'Start in' directory of your shortcut to the install directory. That's what worked for me.

for example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\MMOUI Minion"

-xone
