Layered Maps?

When I have Carbonite on I'll be in one area and there's another area layered under the first in my minimap. It's most noticeable in Dalaran, where Dal will be the overlay and underneath it it's showing icecrown for some reason. I tried shutting off all mods but Carbonite but it still happens.

I have never seen what you describe. Can you post a screenshot?

I too have this same issue, here is a screen shot in Ironforge with a layer beneath showing Dun Morogh. The city map pops back vividly only when the cursor is moved over the map.

ok, this seems to be an issue with the way the maps are stitched together and the transparency feature. Turning the fade off so that the map is at 100% opacity seems to fix the issue and the underlying landscapes no longer show through the city maps.
