Saved Variable Cleaner

I try alot of different mods, some I keep, some I don't. I miss the saved variable cleaner that wau had (unfortunately deleted wau). Is there anything I'm missing or something in the works?

I can't recommend anything, but I don't think that WoW loads SavedVariables files for addons that aren't loaded. Just leaving them there shouldn't cost you anything other than at most a few MB of HD space.

Agreed. If however, you're obsessive compulsive like me, you can always go into the SavedVariables folder and sort by last modified timestamp. Then delete everything that wasn't saved the last time you logged off.

just wanted to add something to what jzar said, some addons have loadable on demand options which wouldnt be updated unless they were accessed, so make sure you dont delete those files. same goes with addons you only use with specific toons that might not have been accessed.

Strangely enough even though the wow ace updater is effectively useless for updating it does have a saved variables cleaner built in. It also backs up the folder before doing so. Its why i still have it installed.

Thanks for all the replies, and yes my OCD kicks in and I want to rid my machine of all the useless items . I wish I had not deleted wau, but I did and was looking for a replacement just to clean the files.
