Reminders for Authors, re 4.1

Just a couple notes for authors since all the signs are pointing to 4.1 going live tomorrow (barring any major bugs showing up that delays its release):

• Addon authors that use addon communication messages should check that their addons still work in 4.1. See this thread for details.
• We have reset the 'works with' flag on the site, so if/when your addon is 4.1 compatible, you can go ahead and tag it as such.
• It's well and truly past the time to get rid of the Cataclysm Beta download category. If you still have addons in there that need to be moved to live categories or deleted, please PM any of the site staff with a link to the addon you want moved (or deleted) and which category to which you'd like it moved. We will be deleting that category (and any addons left in it) on 15 May.

Note for everyone

• We've turned off the links on our Survival Guide, so we can flag them compliant again as they get updated. If you see any of them that have been updated that we haven't marked as such already, please feel free to email us at [email protected] with the link to where it has been updated.

On addon communications: Addons using AceComm-3.0 for their comms should(tm) automatically be in the green for 4.1; it was updated with autosensing compatibility code a few weeks ago.
