v5.2.1 Alpha 2 Major Options Panel Bug

I just downloaded the new beta from WoWInterface and immediately found a major bug in the options panel. As the new alpha reset the two changes in font size I made to 'NxQuest.lua' back to their defaults I brought up the options panel to change the small/medium fonts to 13 point size, BUT a LUA error was immediately thrown and all of the option panels tabs are blank, no text at all. Bottom line, there's no way at all to make any option changes.

On the bright side however all of the options I changed through the options panel with Alpha 1 were imported just fine. I edited 'NxQuest.lua' again to re-make my font point size changes AND, so long as I stay out of the Options panel, I have yet to get any other LUA errors.

Heh, you can't change what you can't see.

my bad... the check for old carbonite settings was counting on them being there... which previous beta testers wouldn't have, fixed now (just download it again, replaced instead of new version).

Other than the 'normal' font options still not hooked into the Quest Log window Alpha 2 now works like a charm, thanks for the quick response... Any chance you'll get the font options hooked back into the Quest Log window code in Alpha 3 so I won't need to manually edit NxQuest.lua each time a new alpha version is released?

Heh, I admit it, I'm lazy...

I almost missed the location for changing font size etc at the bottom of the Quest Watch options panel, so I guess I missed seeing that in Alpha 1. Have to ask though, why are they in the options/quest watch options module instead of options/fonts where you'd expect them to be? Or, at least, that's where I expected them to be.

they are there... just not under Fonts, since Quests is a module, those fonts are at the bottom of Quest options and Watch options

Found them by accident just before I read your post about their location. I'm so used to the 'old' Carb that it never even occurred to me to look there.

Now just waiting on some vertical spacing for the two quest arrow text lines.

I think it's safe to say, when is all is said and done, that Carb is gonna be one hell of lot better once you're done 'modernizing' its code base, and a ton easier to maintain!!!
