Depends on which you are referring to...

ADAPT will replace 2d portraits with 3d ones on most unit frames (including the default ones).
ZMobDB gives you full-body models (or just portraits) of yourself, target, party, etc.
Some unit frame addons have 3-d portraits as part of their options.
