Bags

I've been looking at lot's and lot's of WoW sites these past few days and I've read that you want to save all of your bags because they fill up fast. Can you put filled bags in different slots other than the ones in your bag menu? If not, I don't see the point of saving x number of bags over the 3 in the menu..

I've tried putting filled bags in the bank only to be told that I can't do that. Is that what the buy an extra bag slot option is for?

You can't move filled bags. You have to have them empty to move them..I know..it's annoying

Basically a full bag in a bank slot is like a bag within a bag so you cant do it that way. but to answer your question yes the extra slots you can purchase are for more bank room. Basically a mirror (albeit larger) of your personal inventory.

Well, you can, but only into another bag slot.

It's even more subtle than that. As long as the replacing bag has more overlapping slots for existing items than the bag it replaces, you can swap them (emptying one bag and filling the other one on the fly). Before I discovered that it was always annoying to have to reorder my inventory whenever I upgraded the size of one bag. But if you order items correctly, a bigger bag will just add the extra slots. If you are not using consolidated bags addon this probably doesn't even come to mind lol...
