I've experienced this problem even before the patch when I start a new character. It appears to me that the layout information for Antagonist and Chronometer isn't making it's way to the C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<account>\<realm>\<character>\layout-cache.txt file.

I'm only seeing one entry in my layout-cache.txt for Antagonist and none for Chronometer:

Frame: AntagonistBar1
FrameLevel: 1
Anchor: CENTER
X: 0
Y: 290
W: 100
H: 25

What I did in the past was cut-n-paste the Antagonist/Chronometer entries from a character that I knew worked, but I'm not certain if that's the correct thing to do.

That's a good idea... Guys, if this works for you, please let me know so I can put that in a list of common things to check on if people are having problems.

Thanks

Woot!, It worked. Chronometer is now fixed and in the correct position.

I took the old layout-cache.txt file, found this....
Code:
Frame: AntagonistBar2
FrameLevel: 1
Anchor: CENTER
X: 213
Y: -196
W: 100
H: 25
Frame: AntagonistBar3
FrameLevel: 1
Anchor: CENTER
X: 343
Y: -196
W: 100
H: 25
Frame: ChronometerAnchor
FrameLevel: 1
Anchor: CENTER
X: -204
Y: -196
W: 200
H: 25
and pasted it into the new layout-cache.txt. I then started the game up and ran /chron test and /ant test. Both are in the correct position!

Thanks for the temporary solution, I hope this helps Detard figure out a permanent one!

I almost have this fixed guys.... It is indeed a problem with Hourglass. I had to revert to an older version of it to make Chronometer work at all. I WISH I could upload a small change file for everything that is different with what I'm working with but it has a LOT of changes involving libraries (removed some unused ones, amongst other things) so it might load oh so very slightly faster now.

Is there anyway you can explain what you did in liamens terms?

I don't know how to open or edit the layout-cache.txt file

please help.....

In a few minutes, yes. But unfortunately it means you will have to redownload the new version of the compilation as there are several library changes as well as any updates as of today (I wasn't exactly discriminate in rebuilding and updating the addons this evening), and removed at least a couple libraries that aren't needed.

Has there been a recent fix for this problem? I have tried everything I can research/find on these forums. Disabled Hourglass AND Antagonist. Remazzifying gets me the same message with whatever I try.

Do you have a mage alt that uses Cryolysis? Someone else found out that whenever their mage zoned in, the portal bars timers would pop up, and it looked kinda (not exactly) the same as yours. Don't remember if there was a fix, but try a search in the forum.
