Well the good news is that works for my priest on a different server I cant try it on my shaman right now cause shes on Scilla and blizzard just majorly FUBARed that server by allowing over 3500+ people on it we went from a Low pop server to 30+ min que in 2 days. Ill post if it fixed it when I can log in.

Thanks.

The timers are all aligned for me now. I do not see any issues with the range indicator overlapping the cool down timers.

Thanks man,

Okay... now all I gotta do is sort out why the range indicator overlaps for some people and not for others :-/

EDIT: What display resolution are you playing in?

Scott heres an odd note for you. I accidentally reverted my copy back to 1.16 and had the issue again but when I changed the HUD to off then back on it was in the right position.

Yeah... now that I know what the source of the timer location problem was, I can see how and why that would happen.

On the subject of the new cooldown mechanism, which is a great concept that would allow me to get rid of yet one more addon. Currently I use SCT to sift through the procs I want to see and have it display a message. For instance, in a raid I want to know when Arcane Barrage procs so I can use my arcane missiles, otherwise I don't use them. The problem currently for me with nUI cooldowns is that it spams me with a lot of stuff I don't need in the situation like Blink or frost nova or whatever when what I want to see loudly is my procs in a raid. Could a system be implemented for procs and allow you to turn cooldowns off unless you want them? In PvP the cooldowns would be good, but in raids I want to see procs. A switching mechanism would be nice.

If I had that then I could turn off SCT and turn on Blizzard combat text and call it a day. Let me know if this doesn't make sense. In my mind it makes perfect sense but that doesn't always translate well to real people.

No... I get exactly where you're coming from. In other words, what you want is what you have now, but you only want the alert messages for a select set of spells, not all spells. Yes?

Yaay... that did the trick... I can reproduce the error now and it is related to the scaling logic (tied to the display resolution)

PS. I got a good kick out of the cooldown timer going nutty when I got silenced in WG and all every nature spell on my shamans list was posted there.

That is correct. I want procs to be separate from regular spell cooldowns. So like it a trinket procs alert me. If a spell in my spec procs alert me. But then on the flip side, if I go into arena or something it would be good to turn on regular spell cooldowns. For instance blink, is very important in that condensed and intense timeframe (a regular mage spell on cooldown) if I see a message it might get me out of a mess knowing it just came available.

Scott,

I am always late to reply and it looks like you found the problem already.
I figured I would give you my resolution anyway.

My resolution is 1440x900.

i have an other problem with the cooldown timers, if the autoshoot only runs all is fine, but if i spame the steady shot the cooldown timer goes down but he comes up immediately for a little time without hitting the shoot for the timer (hope you could see my problem on the screenshoot and understand what i mean)

sorry about my poor english.

The file in question would be in the Information Panels code... there's one there for the combat frame. nUI_InfoPanel_CombatLog.lua I think
