Combo points appear to have been broken again in the 3.0 patch and since I almost never play my rogue or druid, I hadn't noticed it before. However, another user also brought this subject up and I am looking into it.

Wow... it took over two hours just to do message board posts and e-mail tonight and I haven't even started on the code yet. Yipes ~lol~

OKay... I'm done and off to see how much I can get done before I gotta crash for work. I'll be back with some kind of an update later.

ok now something else is causing the ui to act up and show the default blizz bar
i removed all my fubar addons

edit:

Ok the library file in the email you sent me is causing the problem.
i removed all of that library and reloaded with fubar and there is no problem, this is a wierd bug

Nevermind my previous post. I removed all adons and reinstalled them one by one and the problem is gone. Sorry for the extra posts.

Exclamation nUI Beta 3 -- Alpha 3.00.03 closed test release has just been e-mailed...

Tonight’s update fixes the problem with rogue/druid combo points… man, that one was a bear to track down! It also adds integration of Omen3 and fixes the achievements watch frame. I was also able to get the HUD selector button tied to the upper console without it fading or hiding the HUD itself, so the HUD selector button no longer floats by itself when the upper console is hidden ~yaay~

Tomorrow night I am going to try and sort out the issue with the micro-menu getting detached from the upper console and see if I can code a solution to the problem with FuBar (and other mods apparently) restoring the Bliz main bar. At this point nUI Beta 3 should be fully playable… please continue to let me know of any bugs you find via the nUI support board at http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...d.php?p=106066 preferably, otherwise via any of the nUI comment boards at WoWUI, WoWInterface or Curse.com or via e-mail to [email protected]

* When Fubar is installed and active, the Bliz mainbar reappears when the player
zones... note: this is a problem in Fubar, not nUI, but I am going to try and

* Warlock metamorphasis spell conflicts with current pet bar

* Click-casting buttons 4 and 5 do not work on unit frames (possibly fixed now?)

* Ready check icons are not working in unit frames

* Enabling the "Use UI Scale" option in the Bliz video configuration menu blows up
nUI's layout and scaling. For now... just uncheck this option until I can fix it.

* Some action buttons highlight as invalid/unavailable when they shouldn't... hunter's
feed pet button, rogue's distract, etc.

* Carbonite is having issues updating the directional arrow when the minimap and/or
battlefield minimap is hidden in the info panel

* Poison Pouch mod minimap button is missed by button bag

* Alpha Map minimap button is not scaling correctly in button bag

* Titan panel mouseover tooltips are not compatible with nUI's fixed position
tooltip option

More testing

I've done so much zoning between Aubergine and Stormwind
Harbour that even the sentinels on the boat are getting bored with me lol!

With Fubar ON the rested xp extends past the end of the bar, even if I only have a little bit of rest xp.

That new Jostle lib doesn't seem to make any difference so I guess it's best to leave Fubar off until Spiel (or the Fubar team of course!) has found a solution/workaround.

The down arrow in the Minimap Button bag produces this error:

It looks like the hud selection bar went away but the char,spellbook (I know not what I say but screenshots save me) is still showing up after mousing over the console a few times.

Ok after raiding tonight i have indeed determined that it isn't fubar that was broken but the libjostle-3.o that was causing the problem,

i verified this by removing everything but nui and the libjostle-3.o library and the blizz bar was showing on every hearth and instance zone.

so i went a bit further and reinstalled all my mods, did a serch and removed all the libjostle folders and files from all mods.

I had to remove the reference to that library from the mods lua file it was attached to for those to work, but now i can hearth, zone and all with out the regular blizz bar showing. i spent some time testing it and it works.

Hope this is some good news for ya spiel, all is looking great in the latest build.

Spiel, I'm happy to see those combo points again where they should be , but I'm still seeing them under the players frame as well .

Also, at times I have buffs (in this case the poison I put on my rogue's daggers) both under the energy bar as well as to the left of the action bar. Was this meant to be like this?

And while I'm here a request for a (optional) sound for when I get 5 combo points . I used to have an addon (can't remember the name) which had spoken sound for cp's: "1 combo point" .. "2 combo points" etc. That was neat and handy.

I noticed that a couple of times myself after I send out the update last night... and it's probably been there since the first alpha release but no one noticed it.

There is logic in the aura code that allows you to identify if the auras that display in a region are supposed to be helpful or harmful from the player's perspective. Helpful auras are supposed to be in the three bars just above the dashboards on the left (player and pet) and on the right (target). Harmful auras are supposed to appear inside the unit frames and on the HUD.

It appears that logic is not working correctly with the new (de)buff API Bliz put in the 3.0, so I'm going to have to do some digging and figure out what the deal is. Those dagger poisons are helpful to you and, therefore, should have only appeared above the dashboard and should not have appears in the unit frame. Since they did appear there, for some reason they were identified as both helpful and harmful... I have no clue why.

I'll work on that tonight.

As for sound... event sounds are on the to-do list already... that will happen in due time.

Jungle -- yeah... that's the micro-menu that I noted in the e-mail and posting that I would be working on tonight. I'm having trouble reproducing the problem though. I think I might go grab lib-jostle and throw it in there... might be the same problem as the main Bliz bar since the micro-menu is technically part of that bar.

Tehryn -- what is the down arrow supposed to do when the bag is open? (I have my arrow keys all remapped for combat, so I don't know)

kk there is a small bug when in group format on the unit frames, the party member in the top right of the unit frames is not showing a target button/unit

please check attachment,

as it shows the person is clearly targeting something


Also i noticed the omen screen was freaking out, pars jumping all over the place, dont know if this is a result of the integration or not.
