Well, in that case, I add thanks to CyberZombie, too And if he has the bulk of the credit, then he gets the biggest thank you. I am still incredibly relieved that I don't have to use Blizz's map.

I have added his name to the list because he was the one who really came up with the fix. And thanks guys for all the downloads. Just wanted to get it out there.

Not working at all

I tried to load this fix today. I even deleted all the old and downloaded everything again. I installed the fix and it still won't load it. If I change to allow out of date add on it freezes the game and won't load past character selection.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help!

Check the installation instuctions, you probably missed something.

Verttex, does your patch includ updated .toc files (for all directory roots in the .zip)? If not, then that may be the problem (won't load wo/ loading out of date, crashing due to multiple out-of-date addons clashing)

Thanks for all your hard work. I did check them and I didn't miss anything. I've installed carbonite and updated it for over a year now and this is the first time it won't work.

So I manually deleted all carbonite folders.
installed the fix and still i'm being showered in errors;

worked for me!

Well ty so much. I downloaded it then opened and moved them into the addon folder and abracadabra No more combat crash! Also most of the new quests are in the data base so it was smooth sailing! thanks again
